The Importance of Upgrades in World of Warcraft
Upgrades are a brand new type of item that gives an increase in your stats. These can be used to upgrade trinkets, armor and weapons.
To calculate probabilities, item upgrades employ a "upgrade pity". This system is designed to reduce chances of losing and provide an adequate safety net when upgrading.
Armor
The item upgrader gives players with the ability to upgrade equipment levels of their armor, weapons and trinkets. The upgrades are applied to the equipment through a visit to an item upgrader NPC with the appropriate currency. Upgrading an item will also increase the stats on the item.
This NPC can be located in every major city and is located in the corner of the city square near a teleport point. The NPC can upgrade any armor, weapon or trinket, with the exception of those which require a quest or crafting.
Note: The device you use to apply an upgrade will be consumed forever. You are not able to apply multiple upgrades to a piece. If you attempt to do this the previous upgrade will be overwritten.
Upgrade your equipment to increase the damage, your survival and your overall power. For instance, if you have new Benthic gear from War Within Mythic Dungeon, it will be level 385 by default, and can be upgraded to a higher level using [Prismatic Manapearls]. Upgrades to your PvE gear are available across all accounts, while upgrades for your PvP gear require a specific currency, like [Valorstones or [Harbinger Crestsor [Harbinger Crests]. The amount of Valorstones needed to upgrade other pieces of gear within the same armor slot is reduced after the first upgrade for the gear.
Weapons
Weapons are an essential component of any character that is successful. They can be used to fend off a murderous monster, kill an intruder, or compete in a target shooting contest. They can also be hung on the wall. Regardless of how you plan to use a specific weapon, it's important to be aware that it can be upgraded and evolve depending on your style of play.
You can upgrade your weapon by visiting a blacksmith who has an instrument workbench. The Blacksmith Hewg, located in the right part of the Roundtable Hold hub, is an excellent option to upgrade your main weapon. Iji is a Smithing Master located in the northwestern region, "Road to the Manor", of Liurna. Smithing Master Iji improves armor and weapons.
In general, upgrading a weapon can increase its weapon level by 5. Azerite weapons (see below) or other weapons that are special will increase their ilvl by 15 for all upgrades. A player can only have one upgrade active at a time. If you attempt to apply an upgrade to a weapon which already has an upgrade, it will fail and the weapon will go to its original ilvl.
Upgrades will not only increase the item level but also provide additional stats that can be used to boost its effectiveness. Some of these enhancements will be purely passive while others may provide increased damage, faster attack speed and increased range, or a greater strike chance.
Ashes of War weapons are awarded when certain bosses of raid are defeated. Other upgrades can be applied to weapons with Whetblades which are rare items that unlock new Affinities that you can infuse your weapon with.
Once a weapon has been fully upgraded, the player is able to continue to upgrade it so long as he/she has the appropriate upgrade materials and currency. It's important to know that weapons are only upgraded to a maximum of 25. Therefore, players should only upgrade their weapons after they've acquired the maximum possible amount of upgrades from regular and Whetblade items.
Trinkets
The Trinkets provide a variety of Boosts. They can be upgraded just like other equipment, through direct interaction with the Item Upgrader.
Stardew Valley is the place where you will find an item upgrading tool. To use it, you need to first unequip any armor or weapons that are equipped. The NPC will then appear with the red banner "Equiped" over his head.
You can upgrade your weapon or armor by choosing him. To achieve this, you must bring the appropriate items and currency to the NPC. When you do, the NPC will upgrade your gear, increasing its stats by one level.
A trinket is a small and inexpensive ornament or piece of jewelry. In addition to the basic trinket upgrade, each has additional abilities that can be added. They can enhance the performance of the item, and might require additional materials or a higher level of skill to gain. Some can be obtained through interactions with an NPC in a quest while others are available as drops from battlegrounds and dungeons.
The Item Upgrader NPC is available at various locations across the game world. These are shown on the map in the Locations tab. Some NPCs offer upgrades only for certain kinds of equipment while others can upgrade any item. Some NPCs also offer additional benefits that are available for players who complete quests with them. The NPC at Shattering Rift gives players a new toy after they defeat the Ancient Beast. Similarly, the NPC at Eastern Guard Tower offers a unique trinket to players who defeat the Ancient Beast.
Set Pieces
A set piece is a key scene that raises the film and is remembered by the audience long after credits have rolled. It can be a scene that involves emotions, action, or even simply a visual spectacle. Set pieces are a crucial part of the magic of film, and they need to be done carefully to get the desired result. The Mission Impossible franchise is a excellent example of set pieces and how they make a lasting impression on the viewers.

Generally, upgrading an item will increase its value, however there are exceptions. For instance the item may have inherently high requirements that limit its usage (take Whistan's shield for FB sorcs as an example), or when an item has a low base stat that can be upp'd to get the perfect or highest roll, then it will only be able to see the most limited use, and therefore gain minimal value.
